Licensed Psychotherapist
The Licensed Psychotherapist is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and is responsible for providing psychological intervention with the patients. Supervision by a licensed psychologist will be provided, as needed, in accordance with the therapist's licensure and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. The Licensed Psychotherapist will report information to the treatment team to assure knowledge of cognitive and behavioral skills and deficits that will impact the overall treatment program. The Licensed Psychotherapist may be involved in collecting research data in compliance with approved research techniques and authorized procedures. The Licensed Psychotherapist may participate actively in professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels. The Licensed Psychotherapist will uphold the mission, philosophy, purpose, and goals of the organization while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient data and information in the performance of assigned duties.
